Meet Tara –
Tara is a Masters of Counselling student at City University with a Bachelor’s degree in Child and Youth Care. For over 15 years, she has supported children, youth, and young adults as a youth worker, helping them navigate life’s challenges with warmth and understanding.
Tara has experience working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety and relationship difficulties. She is passionate about supporting clients across the lifespan—whether you’re a child, teen, adult, couple, or family—by creating a space where you feel heard, valued, and supported.
Her approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and rooted in social justice, recognizing how systemic inequalities can impact mental health and well-being. Tara is committed to fostering a compassionate, non-judgmental environment where clients can safely explore their concerns and move toward healing and growth.
Outside of counselling, Tara loves walking the seawall, soaking up the sun, and spending time with her family.
